How to: Use a picture created in Paint as wallpaper.
Solution:
Save the picture created in Paint. Open Control Panel, double-click the 'Display' icon, and then select the desired wallpaper.
NOTE: This solution assumes that Paint is opened.
1) Save the Paint file in the C:\Windows folder:
a) Select the 'File' menu and select 'Save As...'. (The 'Save As' dialog box appears.)
b) In the 'Save in' drop-down list box, select the C:\Windows folder.
c) Type a name for the file in the 'File name' box.
d) Click 'Save'.

2) Select the file as the wallpaper:
a) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
b) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)
c) Double-click the 'Display' icon. (The 'Display Properties' dialog box appears.)
d) Do one of the following:
1] Select the desired wallpaper from the 'Wallpaper' list box.
2] If the desired pattern or wallpaper is not listed in the 'Wallpaper' list box:
a] Click 'Browse...'. (The 'Browsing for wallpaper' dialog box appears.)
b] Select the desired folder from the 'Folders' list box.
NOTE: The default wallpaper folder is C:\Windows.
c] Select the desired wallpaper from the 'File name' list box.
d] Click 'OK'. (The 'Display Properties' dialog box reappears.)
e) Do one of the following:
1] Select the 'Tile' radio button under 'Display' to cover the entire screen with small images of the wallpaper.
2] Select the 'Center' radio button under 'Display' to center one wallpaper image on the screen.
f) Click 'Apply'.
g) Click 'OK'.
